Safeguarding

At United Players, ensuring the safety and well being of all of our members is a high priority and therefore we take safeguarding seriously. We want all of our activities and services to be safe places for our cast, crew and audience alike.

The care and protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults visiting and participating in United Players' activities is important and we consider everyone who participates to have a vital role to play in promoting a safe space for all. In order to achieve this we have created a safeguarding policy which can be found here.

Should you have any worries or concerns about the safety of yourself or another individual(s) please speak to our Child Protection Officer, who will ensure that you are put in contact with the appropriate authority. Should you have any concerns about the actions or behaviour of an individual involved in, or associated with, the United Players please speak to our Child Protection Officer who will follow the protocols set out within our Safeguarding Policy.

Please find below a list of helpful contacts who are able to provide both advice and help.

If a child, young person or vulnerable adult is in immediate need of protection, please contact the police on 999.
